AT HOME IMMUNITY BOOSTING IDEAS

As you know, Chinese medicine is a wonderful preventative medicine, but out of an abundance of caution I have decided to make the very difficult decision to temporarily close the practice. We hope to re-open and begin seeing you again on Monday, March 30.   As a small wellness business that offers in-person care I had to consider the health of all patients, practitioners, their friends and family, as well as the greater good.  I truly feel that if we all do our part now to slow the spread of this unfortunate pandemic, we will be able to resume some bit of normalcy sooner rather than later.

While you are at home, here are a few ways to keep your immune system strong:

1. Ear Seeds! You may have had us put ear seeds in our office during treatment. Now you can buy an immune boosting protocol to have sent right to your
home!

2. Warm teas: Some of our favorites are fresh ginger with licorice, or cinnamon tea

3. Bone Broth

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

5. Address your emotions as they arise

6. Movement. Exercise helps to boost our immune system.  Our favorite at-home applications:

  • Fhitting Room On Demand is offering upir first 30 days free!

  • Peloton. Even if you don't have a tread or bike they have an abundance of content that doesn’t require either piece of equipment.

7. Fresh Air. Assuming you’re feeling healthy and can keep a healthy distance from others, a walk or a jog is a great way your circulation going with the added benefit of additional Vitamin D.

8. Books: If you’re finding yourself with a bit more downtime at home, here are two of our favorite books that give a palatable introduction to the world of Chinese Medicine:

Please feel free to reach out with questions or for information about our 20 minute phone or video consultations at info@8pointwellness.com while the office is closed.
