ABOUT us
8 Point wellness
A boutique wellness practice offering acupuncture, cupping, and herbal treatments. Founded by Molly Forsyth, DACM, L.Ac., the practice focuses on sports medicine, and general wellness. She has works extensively with professional athletes, and is the team acupuncturist for the NJ Devils.
The number 8 symbolizes infinity, which is indicative of our journey to ultimate health. Molly believes that our connection to wellness is an ongoing journey throughout life. In numerology, the number 8 is associated with balance, power, and success.
About the founder
Molly Forsyth is certified as a Diplomat of Chinese Medicine by the NCCAOM, a licensed Acupuncturist (NY and NJ), and a board-certified herbalist. She holds her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (Pacific College of Health and Science), Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (Pacific College of Health and Science), and a BS in Business (Syracuse University). In addition, she has completed a four year Professional Studies degree in Brennan Healing Science at Barbara Brennan School of Healing.
Molly’s personal healing journey is what led her to study Chinese medicine. While working in the corporate side of the fashion industry, she fell ill with an autoimmune condition. As she says, “it was Chinese medicine that gave me my life back, and it is my greatest gift to be able to support others in their healing.”
When she’s not with patients, you can most likely find Molly swinging kettlebells (or lifting them in a weighted pull-up), running, or spending time with her family in nature.
