Why Bone Broth is My Favorite Natural Winter Remedy

This time of year, I talk a lot about bone broth to my patients. Winter is the time to nourish the kidneys, and in Chinese medicine the kidneys govern the bones. Bone broth is a great way to warm and nourish qi (also known as vital energy in our bodies) and blood, as well as to help prevent and promote healing of bones and connective tissue. It’s very collagen rich too, which means it’s also great for skin and for healing digestive irregularities.
